Teach Children the Truth During the Shutdown
Linda Harvey, Mission America
It's a rare opportunity to counteract the deceptive messages of the culture! During the shutdown while many children are at home, parents have an open door to address the truth of God's Word about homosexuality and gender confusion with your children.
Books like this are considered "inclusive" but instead, lie to kids and distort reality.
And that's especially true if they receive assignments that include "LGBTQ" propaganda. For instance, should children be taught that some classmates are born homosexual or transgender? Is it accurate that people are forever and always this way? No! Yes, be kind to everyone, but no, never give approval to deviant, harmful, sinful behavior that may have been caused by sexual abuse or traumatic experiences.
The manipulation propping up this agenda is everywhere and parents need to to check lessons closely.
So...what can you offer as an alternative?
We have two resources on our Mission America website. See below for more information.
This is an opportunity to teach the truth and defend your child's mind and heart. Take advantage of it!

And... Linda Harvey's book for middle and high schoolers is perfect for a more in-depth look at this controversial issue. Does "LGBT" identity bring the promised liberation and the key to a whole new life? Does it lift the burden of secrecy - or begin a different kind of struggle?
"Maybe He's Not Gay: Another View on Homosexuality" (Second Edition) is a book that addresses these critical questions.
