Will Tillerson's State Dept. Keep Pushing Sin?
Linda Harvey, WND.com
Rex Tillerson, nominee for Secretary of State
Sexual imperialism is so 2016. As the Trump administration assumes power, can we please just have a Department of State that conducts U.S. diplomacy around issues that matter?
Many are conflicted about the nomination of Rex Tillerson as Trump’s Secretary of State. Typical of Trump, it’s very creative and infuses executive management skills into a key leadership post. But there are a few red flags.
As head of Exxon, Tillerson oversaw large donations to Planned Parenthood, so will the radical global abortion agenda continue? Pro-life advocates who backed Trump will be quite disturbed if that happens.
And then there’s homosexuality and gender confusion. Tillerson served on the Boy Scout national board when they betrayed America’s boys and extended troop leadership to homosexual males.
Will Tillerson continue the homosexual hijacking of U.S. foreign policy through USAID and the “Global Equality Fund”?
As Secretaries of State, Hillary Clinton and John Kerry both put a wildly distorted emphasis on “LGBT” issues. Who knew this was such a top concern of the world’s masses, rising above worries over food, infectious disease, clean water, corrupt politicians, economic development, jihadist extremism, or religious persecution?
Our state department should focus on rescuing Christians subjected to unjust imprisonment, torture, rape, dismemberment and murder. Religious persecution is rising in Syria, Iraq, Turkey, Sudan, China, North Korea, Indonesia, Vietnam, Pakistan, Nigeria, Egypt, Iran and all over the globe.
If there are speeches to be made about “human rights,” this is the topic that matters. While no one remembers Hillary or Kerry taking bold stands to defend Christians, recall that Hillary brazenly declared, “Gay rights are human rights and human rights are gay rights,” in a 2011 speech.
But, no, they are not. Men in wigs and feather boas may play well in Rio, but are really not the top priority in North Africa, the Middle East and southeast Asia.
